Booking and cancellation policies winter activities
Participants must arrive between 8:00 am and 9:00 am (for a daytime rental) and between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm (for an evening rental) at the entrance of the L’Anse-Saint-Jean ice fishing village. Under no circumstances will late participants have access to their fishing cabin. In case of late arrival, the activity is non-refundable.
Unfortunately, Fjord en Kayak has no control over the environment surrounding the ice fishing activity. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee that you will get catches and Fjord en Kayak cannot guarantee that the weather will be able to provide you with an optimal experience. Thus, no refund is made in case of bad weather. However, if Fjord en Kayak is forced to cancel the activity for weather reasons, this will result in a full refund of the activity without further compensation.
Fjord en Kayak reserves the right to modify the details of your reservation according to weather conditions or for other reasons considered relevant by the company.
100% of the rental amount is required upon online and phone booking. For cancellations more than 30 days prior to the rental date, a 5% administration fee will be retained on the refund. For cancellations 15 to 29 days prior to the rental date, a penalty of 40% of the rental amount will be applied. For cancellations less than 15 days prior to the rental date, the full amount of the rental will be kept.
The renter agrees in advance to pay the rental fees to be paid upon return for any additional time used and this, if it exceeds the scheduled time of return stipulated on the contract at a cost of 30$ / additional hours.
